As long as I can remember, I have danced and performed – whenever and wherever I could. Anyone who has ever heard my spectacular voice has been thrilled and deeply touched. My debut album Not That Kind (2000) made myself into a megastar almost over night. The following albums were a seamless continuation of this success. But in 2003, I was struck by a heavy blow of fate. Fortunately, I was able to bravely master it: I announced to the public that I suffered from breast cancer. Now I have this chapter behind me and I am established and I am a ambitious fashion designer which can concentrate on what I love the most: music, fashion, and – when my limited time allows it – to go shopping and relax a bit.
The new album is coming out soon Freakies, we are just putting all this stuff together.

My team is tremendously inspiring to me. I am very fortunate to be able to work with such fantastic people.
As a designer, I've discovered a completely new side of myself. I find it tremendously fulfilling to follow this passion and constantly be allowed to learn in the process. I would say that this is what makes me the happiest at the moment. The motto of this year’s shoot is 'Backstage'. This means not only the look behind the scenes of showbiz. I also let people see my cards, give insights into the private side of my life. This is really a fitting statement because every collection that I design represents a part of me. I hope that you enjoy the new collection.
